1. Who We Are

SEOPix ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website https://seopix.co. We provide an AI-powered image optimization tool for e-commerce sellers and SEO professionals. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at [email protected].

2. What Data We Collect

We collect minimal data to operate the service:

• Images you upload — stored temporarily in Vercel Blob storage to process and return to you. Automatically deleted according to your account tier (see Section 4).
• Account information — when you create an account: email address, display name, and (if using email signup) a securely hashed password. Google sign-in users: we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google via OAuth.
• Credit balance and transaction history — stored in our database to track your credit purchases, subscription status, and usage history.
• Session history — records of your processing sessions (image count, credits used, timestamps) stored in our database for your dashboard.
• Payment information — processed entirely by PayPal. We never see or store your card details. We only receive a confirmation that payment was successful.
• Usage analytics — anonymous page view data collected via Vercel Analytics (no cookies, no personal identifiers).

3. How We Use Your Data

• To process and optimize your images (AI renaming, compression, WebP conversion)
• To manage your account, credit balance, and subscription
• To grant monthly free credits (15 credits/month for free-tier accounts)
• To confirm payments for credit packs and subscriptions
• To improve the service through anonymous usage analytics

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

Data retention varies by account tier:

• Subscribers (Starter, Pro, Business) — last 10 processing sessions retained in your dashboard history.
• Credit users (credit pack purchases, no active subscription) — last 1 processing session retained.
• Free users — uploaded images and processed files are automatically deleted after 24 hours.

We run a daily cleanup job that removes expired session data. We do not retain copies of your images after deletion. It is your responsibility to download your processed files within the applicable window. Account data (email, name, credit balance, transaction history) is retained as long as your account exists.

5. Cookies

SEOPix does not use tracking cookies. We use localStorage (not cookies) to store your session ID locally in your browser. Vercel Analytics operates without cookies and without collecting personally identifiable information.

6. Third-Party Services

• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure (privacy policy)
• PayPal — payment processing (privacy policy)
• OpenAI — AI processing for image alt text and article generation (privacy policy)

7. Your Rights
